Abstract

Pulesari Tourism Village is a tourist village where the management of this tourist village is managed independently and involve active community participation. This tourist village is managed by Pokdarwis Dewi Pule. This research aims to find out the communication patterns used by the Dewi Pule Group in managing the local community based Pulesari Tourism Village. This research uses qualitative research by collecting data through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The main theory used in this research is the theory of communication patterns. The result of this research show Pokdarwis Dewi Pule carries out a circular or continuous communication pattern using a face to face padukuhan meeting method to create two way communication between Pokdarwis Dewi Pule and the community. In the process of conveying and receiving messages, Pokdarwis Dewi Pule pays attention to four dimension that serve as benchmarks for community based tourism development.
