Abstract

The internet is a network of computers connected to each other, TCP/IP is a standard protocol used to serve billions of uses around the world, in the world of education, many students and students utilize the internet as a source of knowledge that is easily accessible and relatively affordable. In today's information and technology era, a fast and reliable internet connection has become an essential requirement to support learning, and the use of digital learning resources. This research has the aim of implementing a Mikrotik-based hotspot network design. network design based on proxy. With this, it is hoped that users will find it easier to access internet network as well as maximizing the internet network to be effective and efficient, and for the internet access security system so that it is not easily hacked. Research This research uses the NDLC method which has six stages, namely analysis, design, Simulation, implementation, monitoring, and management. The results of this final project are in the user interface, the configured proxy will display the hotspot network that will be displayed, the user must enter a username and password when the user has successfully logged in, it is automatically connected and gets internet access. And also there is user management to divide each user and rate limit to set the speed of each user. Likewise, there is also a blocking of negative sites and social media which aims to prevent negative internet sites from being accessed.
