Abstract

Communication is an important part that is always inherent in human life as a social being. One form of communication is communication that occurs between 2 or more people (interpersonal) that is necessary for each individual to interact with other individuals to achieve certain goals. Persuasive communication is a communication process that aims to influence a person's attitudes, opinions and behaviors both verbally and non-verbally. The establishment of Youth Organization in Sumberkerang Village is a form of application of leader persuasive communication technic to empower youth to actively involved in youth organization. The oretically, this research is expected to make a scientific contribution in the field of communication science, especially related to interpersonal communication. The benefits obtained from the results of this research are in the form of related information that can be done by a leader in increasing community empowerment, especially youth to build village welfare. The method applied in this research is a descriptive study using a qualitative research method, which is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behaviors.
