Abstract

E-Module is one of the learning tools that can be utilized to assist the learning process. One of the media that can be used to display visualization of physics material is e-modules using google sites. This research aims to 1) Produce web-based e-modules (google sites) on the material of gas kinetic theory for students at MAN 2 Yogyakarta. 2) Knowing the quality of web-based e-modules (google sites) developed based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, and physics educators. 3) To know the response of students to the web-based e-module (google sites) developed. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development). The research model used is the 4D development model, namely define, design, develop and disseminate developed by Thiagarajan. The procedure in this development research is limited to the develop stage. This research was conducted until the limited trial stage. The research instruments used were instrument validation sheets, product validation sheets, product assessment sheets, and student response questionnaire sheets. The product assessment sheet uses a Likert scale which is made in the form of a checklist. The instrument for students is using a Guttman scale in the form of a checklist. The results of the research that have been developed in the form of web-based e-modules (google sites) on gas kinetic theory material at MAN 2 Yogyakarta. The quality of the products developed according to material experts, media experts, and physics educators respectively amounted to 3.67; 3.50; and 3.38 with the category Very Good (SB). The response of students in the limited trial obtained a score of 0.95 with the Agree (S) category. Indicating that the developed product attracts the attention of students, presents complete material, and uses clear language and is in accordance with the level of understanding of students.
