Abstract

Effective learning strategies are essential to achieve optimal educational goals, with an emphasis on understanding the foundations of education and student development. Therefore, the learning process at MI Al- Huda Karangnongko has not fully run well because there is still resistance and teacher unfamiliarity with the independent curriculum, making it difficult to apply a more flexible and inclusive learning approach. Especially the subject of moral creed. In addition, the limited skills of teachers are an obstacle, in reducing the effectiveness of the material taught. This type of research uses qualitative which aims to answer questions about the independent curriculum as an aqidah teacher's strategy to improve students' religious behavior. The source of data for this research is the moral creed teachers of classes 1A, 1B, and 1C. Data collection methods are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data condensation, data presentation, drawing conclusions or verification. To test the validity of the data using source triangulation, research extension, observation persistence. The results showed that the implementation of the independent curriculum as a strategy for akidah teachers to improve students' religious behavior was good. However, the morals teacher's readiness to implement it still faces various obstacles. Some of the obstacles in implementing the independent curriculum 1) the ability of students to read and write is not yet possible. 2) teachers have difficulty adapting to the independent curriculum learning process. 3) technological obstacles are faced, especially older morals teachers, who have difficulty in making teaching modules and using the necessary digital tools. The solutions offered at this time are 1) training and workshops. 2) support and coaching. 3) infrastructure and technology readiness. 4) improvement of teacher skills. Long-term solutions 1) monitoring and evaluation, 2) strategic decision making. 3) teacher competency improvement. 4) resource management. 5) collaborative culture. 6) innovative leadership.
