Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that develop in the community. Sanri's economic empowerment through animal husbandry at Al-Hikamussalafiyyah Islamic Boarding School in Sumedang Regency is carried out to realize santri who can be empowered when they have entered society. This study aims to find out and want to know the Economic Empowerment of Santri through Animal Husbandry at Al-Hikamussalafiyyah Islamic Boarding School, Sumedang Regency and to find out the process and results of its empowerment. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Determination of informants using purposive sampling technique based on certain characteristics that are considered relevant, data validity techniques using triangulation of sources and methods. The results showed that several processes of economic empowerment of santri through animal husbandry included the preparation stage, assessment stage, activity design stage, implementation stage, evaluation stage, termination stage. The results of the process of economic empowerment of santri through animal husbandry are Increased Economic Welfare of Santri Pesantren Al-Hikamussalafiyah, Additional Income for Al-Hikamussalafiyah Islamic Boarding School, Empowerment Welfare of Santri of Al-Hikamussalafiyah Islamic Boarding School, Additional Income for Al-Hikamussalafiyah Islamic Boarding School, Empowering the Community Around the Boarding School.
