Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of PAD (Regional Original Income), DAU (Special Allocation Funds), and DAK (Special Allocation Funds) on economic growth with capital expenditure as an intervening variable for Indonesian provinces for the 2016-2022 period. This research uses secondary data with panel data method. The population in this research is 34 provinces in Indonesia. The sample selection used purposive sampling, so the sample used in this research was 30 provinces. The results in this study show that PAD (Regional Original Income) and Special Allocation Funds (DAK) have an effect on capital expenditure, while DAU (General Allocation Fund) has no effect on capital expenditure. The variables of Regional Original Income (PAD) and capital expenditure have an effect on economic growth, while the variables of General Allocation Funds (DAU) and Special Allocation Funds (DAK) have no effect on economic growth. Apart from that, the results of this research show that capital expenditure can mediate the relationship between PAD, DAU and DAK on economic growth.
