Abstract
This research is motivated by the researcher's anxiety about conditions in the metaverse era. Metaverse is a virtual world that is developing rapidly through the integration of technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), blockchain, and artificial intelligence (AI). Metaverse offers various opportunities, such as access to online education, business, and social networking. However, on the other hand, metaverse also brings major challenges, such as cyberbullying, the spread of unethical content, mental health disorders, and exposure to lifestyles that conflict with religious values. This condition poses a serious challenge to the moral education of Muslim women. In facing these challenges, authoritative guidance on values and principles is needed, such as those contained in the books Ādābul Marʾah fī al-Islām and Syakhṣiyyah al-Marʾah al-Muslimah. Both books offer relevant principles for shaping the morals of Muslim women amidst the complexity of the digital world. This study uses a library research method with an interdisciplinary approach that integrates theories from Islamic studies, education, sociology, and technology. The main sources of this study are the books Ādābul Marʾah fī al-Islām and Syakhṣiyyah al-Marʾah al-Muslimah, which are analyzed using content analysis and data interpretation methods and using the stages of Milles and Huberman's theory, namely data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the concept of women's moral education in Ādābul Marʾah fī al-Islām and Syakhṣiyyah al-Marʾah al-Muslimah complement each other in forming the ideal personality of Muslim women. Ādābul Marʾah fī al-Islām emphasizes strengthening faith, understanding sharia, and practicing religion to maintain honor and contribute to society, while Syakhṣiyyah al-Marʾah al-Muslimah focuses more on developing a harmonious personality through a spiritual relationship with Allah and examples of goodness. Both books are based on the Qur'an and hadith, integrating theory and practice in guiding women to practice Islamic morals in an applicable manner, with Ādābul Marʾah fī al-Islām being relevant in the context of Indonesian culture, and Syakhṣiyyah al-Marʾah al-Muslimah offering a universal approach. These two books provide relevant guidelines in the metaverse era by instilling the values of honesty, maintaining modesty even in the virtual world, and mastering digital literacy to use technology wisely according to Islamic principles. By upholding manners and ethics, Muslim women are directed to become strategic agents of change, spreading moral values and becoming relevant educators in an increasingly digitally connected global era.
