Abstract
Learning media on ecosystem materials are generally still conventional and have the potential to be further developed to be more effective in conveying complex scientific concepts. This provides an opportunity to further improve students' science literacy and science process skills. Therefore, innovative learning media development is needed, one of which is through ecohistory-based digital flipbooks. This research aims: (1) To develop ecohistory-based digital flipbook learning media on ecosystem material to improve students' science literacy and science process skills. (2) To determine the feasibility of ecohistory-based digital flipbook learning media on ecosystem material. (3) To determine the effectiveness of ecohistory-based digital flipbook learning media on ecosystem material to improve science literacy. (4) To determine the ecohistory-based digital flipbook learning media on ecosystem material can foster students' science process skills. This type of research is development research (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model developed which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests (pretest posttest). This research was conducted in class V with 22 students. Product specifications of connecting ecosystem concepts with relevant historical events, equipped with interactive features such as let's observe videos, interactive quizzes, let's sing, and observe observation, classification, and communication skills in the science process. The results of this study indicate that the development of ecohistory-based digital flipbook learning media is considered very feasible to use. Based on the assessment conducted by the design expert got 95%, material expert validation with a value of 94%, language expert validation with a value of 96%. The results of the effectiveness test of using ecohistory-based digital flipbook learning media to improve student science literacy obtained 18 students in the high category N gain ≥0.7, and 4 students in the medium category N gain <0.3. Ecohistory-based digital flipbook learning media on ecosystem material effectively fosters students' science process skills.
