Abstract

This study aims to describe the collection development policy at the "APMD" Village Community Development College Library; to find out the learning process at the "APMD" Village Community Development College; and to find out the collection development policy in supporting learning at the "APMD" Village Community Development College Library in Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The selection of informants used purposive sampling. The data sources used were secondary and primary data. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used according to Miles and Huberman are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique uses a credibility test. The results of this study are 1) The collection development policy at the "APMD" Village Community Development College Library in Yogyakarta has had a collection policy and guidebook since 2023, but it has not been maximized because its implementation is still limited to collection procurement; 2) The learning process at the "APMD" Village Community Development College in Yogyakarta is in accordance with the standard operating procedure (SOP), such as a student-centered learning process; using an outcome-based education (OBE) curriculum; centered on face-to-face meetings and practice; Independent Learning Curriculum Independent Curriculum (MBKM); 3) Collection Development Policy in Supporting Learning in the Library of the Village Community Development College "APMD" has not been maximized/significant, because the existing collection has not been improved and has not reached the National Standards for College Libraries.
