Abstract

The pattern of husband-wife relationship is a pattern of relationships built in a family that determines the division of rights and obligations in carrying out daily life. Families of early marriage couples are generally prone to problems, because they are not ready for conditions both physically, biologically and mentally. Early Marriage Couple Family The pattern of husband-wife relationships that are carried out is very important to see the situation and conditions of the physical and mental state of both partners so that they can complement each other and understand each other so that a family that is Sakinah mawadah warahmah can be realized. Therefore, in this study, the researcher will examine two points, namely; the pattern of husband and wife relations in early marriage in Sengerang Hamlet, Planjan Village, Saptosari District, Gunungkidul Regency and a review of Islamic law on the pattern of husband and wife relations in early marriage in building a Sakinah family in Sengerang Hamlet, Planjan Village, Saptosari District, Gunungkidul Regency. This type of research is field research with the nature of descriptive-analytical research. The method uses a qualitative method with inductive thinking. The data collection in this study was carried out by interviewing three families who held early marriages in Sengerang Hamlet and then analyzed using the theory of the pattern of husband-wife relations, and also from the perspective of maqāṣid syarī'ah. The results of this study show that the pattern of marital relationships in early marriage couples in Sengerang Hamlet includes two categories; Head Complement and Equal Partner, each with different decision-making dynamics and division of tasks. Through a review of Islamic law, these patterns can be judged based on the principles of maqāṣid sharī'ah, which emphasizes the importance of balance, communication, and justice in building the Sakinah family.
