Abstract
This research is entitled The Call for Resistance against Patriarchal Domination in the Poem "Yā Imra`ah Musta'badah" by Anis Syausyan and the Poem "Screams of Women Who Fight" by Nolinia Zega (Intertextuality of Julia Kristeva). This research shows the existence of social problems, namely patriarchal culture. So Anis Syausyan and Nolinia Zega in their poetry call for resistance against patriarchal culture. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using Julia Kristeva's intertextuality theory approach which focuses on the concept of text opposition in poetry. The data collection method used is reading and note-taking techniques with the analysis method used is content analysis. In this research there are data sources and reference sources. The research data sources are the poem Yā Imra`ah Musta'badah by Anis Syausyan which was obtained via Facebook and the poem Screams of Women Who Fights by Nolinia Zega which was obtained via the website. The aim of this research is to criticize, evaluate and explain first, the feminist movement as a response to patriarchal culture in Tunisia and Indonesia. Second, the ideology in the two poems is based on analysis using Julia Kristeva's theory of intertextuality, including elements of opposition, transposition and transformation of the text. The results of this research found that the social construction of Tunisian and Indonesian society had an influence on Anis Syausyan and Nolinia Zega in writing poetry with the theme of resistance to patriarchal culture. The ideology in Anis Syausyan's poetry is social politics. The ideology in Nolinia Zega's poetry is social and cultural. The opposition of the perpetrator and victim texts in Anis Syausyan's poetry includes employment participation, how to dress, and forms of respect. Nolinia Zega's poetry includes how to look, job criteria, and how to behave. The transposition of the two poems includes (1) the depiction of a dead body, (2) submission to something detrimental, (3) demands for appearance and clothing, and (4) the view of free humans. Text transformations in Anis Syausyan's poetry include (1) sexual violence, (2) stereotypes of women, and (3) objectification of women. Meanwhile, Nolinia Zega's poetry only mentions stereotypical aspects of women.
