Abstract

This research discusses the tourism marketing communication of the jami' tegalsari mosque as a religious tourism ponorogo. The tegalsari jami' mosque becomes a religious tourism destination based on the importance of history and local culture by utilizing religious tourism destinations. In this study, tourism marketing communication carried out by the mosque manager by building a comprehensive approach to combining tourism marketing communication with effective innovation diffusion theory, with mosque-based Islamic values to increase religious tourism. Jami' Tegalsari Mosque is the mosque where Islam was born in Ponorogo, a mosque that is one of the cultural heritage buildings protected by Law No. 11 of 2010. This religious tourism marketing communication in increasing. This study aims to analyze the theory of diffusion of innovation with the concept of marketing communication using 4p, the utilization of digital media channels of religious tourism marketing carried out by the manager of the jami' tegalsari mosque. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Involving various stakeholders such as local governments, and religious organizations. The results showed that tourism marketing communication using digital communication marketing carried out by the Tegalsari Jami' Mosque also involves good management and cooperation between the public and private sectors. Continuous supervision and evaluation are key in maintaining the sustainability and development of religious tourism in this place. The utilization of digital technology, especially social media, also helps to promote the mosque as a religious tourism destination and spread da'wah messages.
