Abstract

Sharia Fintech offers innovative solutions for the development of MSMEs in Java, but its use is not yet optimal and requires improvements in digital infrastructure, education, and regulations to support the growth of the digital economy. This study aims to examine the determinants of the influence of the intention to use Sharia Fintech among MSMEs in Java. The theory used in the foundation of this theory is the Technology Acceptancee Model (TAM), namely Effort Expectancy, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and two additional variables of Social Influence and Government Support. The research method in this study uses a quantitative method with a purposive sampling approach, taking samples from MSMEs on the island of Java starting from Greater Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, DIY and East Java. The total number of respondents involved was 209 people who owned MSMEs with an age range of 18-25 years and above. Data analysis was carried out using SEM-PLS with a data collection technique with questionnaire distribution. The results showed that Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and Social Influence had a significant positive influence, while Effort Expectancy had a non-significant positive influence. Government support has a negative influence is not significant. This research supports and enriches the Acceptance Model Theory (TAM) and suggests the development of strategies to increase public awareness, improve ease of use, and strengthen Social Influence.
