Abstract
The climate crisis is a global threat that is also felt in Indonesia. However, the issue of climate crisis is often considered taboo by the public. In response to this, IKLIM seeks to provide education and voice awareness about the climate crisis through a music festival with the presentation of the Sonic Panic album in Yogyakarta, which is designed to be environmentally friendly. This research aims to analyze the event management of Sonic Panic Yogyakarta in an effort to voice the climate crisis. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews and documentation. This research uses the concept of event management from Joe Goldblatt, including five stages, namely Research, Design, Planning, Coordination, and Evaluation. In addition, the concept of climate crisis used refers to the 2015 IPCC report, which includes five main factors: reducing carbon emissions, energy efficiency, waste management, using renewable resources, and educating and raising public awareness. The results showed that the event management of the Sonic Panic Yogyakarta committee has been running well, but the implementation of the climate crisis concept at Sonic Panic Yogyakarta is still less effective in utilizing renewable resources due to limited access to these resources.
