Abstract

In the world of education, learning independence is one of the main competencies that must be possessed by students. However, some students at SMP Negeri 4 Ngaglik still show a lack of learning independence. One of the efforts to overcome this is to use video media and power points in learning. However, the use of such media has not been implemented consistently. The objectives of this study are: 1) To find out the perception of students on the use of video media. 2) Knowing the perception of students on the use of power point media. 3) Students' Learning Independence. 4) the influence of students' perception on the use of video media on students' learning independence. 5) The influence of students' perception on the use of power point media on students' learning independence. 6) The effect of students' perception on the use of video media and power points together on students' learning independence in PAI subjects in Class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Ngaglik. . This research is a type of quantitative research using the Ex post facto method. The respondents in this study were 94 respondents. The data collection technique uses questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis, classical assumption test analysis, and regression hypothesis with the help of SPSS Version 26 For Windows. Based on the results of the study: 1) Students perception of the use of video media is in the moderate category of 76.6%. 2) Students' perception of the use of power point media is in the medium category of 77.5%. 3) Students' learning independence is in the medium category of 72.3%. 4) Students' perception of the use of video media on learning independence based on a hypothesis test obtained the results of t-calculation = 2.884 and a sig value of 0.005 < 0.05. 5) Students' perception of the use of power point media on learning independence, based on the hypothesis test, the results of t calculation = 7,578 and a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05 were obtained. 6) Students' perception of the use of video media and power points together on learning independence based on a hypothesis test obtained the results of analysis f calculation obtained as 32,102 and a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05 or this means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is an influence of these two media on the learning independence of students.
