Abstract

Physics problem solving ability is one of the 21st century skills demanded by the industrial revolution 4.0. However, physics problem solving ability is still weak among students. So that physics problem solving ability needs to be improved by implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) integrated with traditional benthic games to improve physics problem solving skills and strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile. This study applied a quasi-experiment type of research with a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used cluster sampling technique. The samples in this study were class XI B as the experimental class and class XI C as the control class. Data collection instruments in this study include five items of five-point description questions and 20 questionnaire statements. The results of this study are: 1) the results of students' learning completeness in the experimental class were 77% greater than the minimum percentage that had been determined. 2) the calculation of the average N-Gain score in the experimental class was 0.60 with a moderate category, which means that the score is in the predetermined criteria. 3) the result of strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile in the experimental class of 85% is greater than the minimum percentage that has been determined. So it can be concluded that Problem Based Learning (PBL) Integrated with Benthik Traditional Games is effective for Improving Physics Problem Solving Ability and Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students.
