Abstract

This research is titled: "The Dynamics of Road Infrastructure Development in Driving Economic Growth in 10 Regencies of Central Java Province." The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of factors such as road infrastructure length, population size, open unemployment rate, and regional budget (APBD) on economic growth in 10 regencies of Central Java Province. The research objects include road infrastructure length, population size, open unemployment rate, and APBD in 10 regencies of Central Java Province. The data used in this study is secondary data. The hypothesis testing was conducted using panel data regression analysis with the Random Effect Model (REM) approach, utilizing Eviews 12 software. The results of the study indicate that: (a) road infrastructure length, population size, open unemployment rate, and APBD collectively influence economic growth in the 10 regencies of Central Java Province during the period 2013–2022; (b) road infrastructure length, population size, and APBD individually have a positive and significant effect, while the open unemployment rate variable has a positive effect on economic growth in the 10 regencies of Central Java Province during the period 2013–2022.
