Abstract

Social relations are relationships that occur due to interactions in human life. The relationships that are established can be positive or negative depending on the response of each individual in the interaction. Through good interactions, it will create positive relationships by prioritizing Positive Values in the realm of society. The focus of this study is: 1) How are the social relations that occur at the Hypnotic Quran Islamic Boarding School towards the community in the surrounding environment? 2) What are the implications of the social relations of the Hypnotic Quran Islamic Boarding School towards changes in society that are undergoing a process of modernization in the City of Probolinggo? Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the process of social relations of the Hypnotic Quran Islamic Boarding School towards the community in the surrounding environment and the characteristics of the Sumbertaman Village Community and to determine the implications and social changes from the factors of social relations of the Hypnotic Quran Islamic Boarding School towards society in the modern era today. The type of research conducted by the author uses a descriptive qualitative method that explains in full the search for deep meaning to the phenomena that occur through various sources, by analyzing using George Simmel's theory regarding social relations, as well as the concept of tolerance and harmony of religious communities. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: 1) The Hypnotic Quran Islamic Boarding School is located in the middle of the Sumbertaman Village community which has diverse characteristics so that it requires building an intellectual image that increases insight and is accepted by the surrounding community. 2) The relationship between the Hypnotic Quran Islamic Boarding School and the surrounding community builds social life management and economic balance between both which include Empowerment of centralization, Community Development, and Participation. 3) The relationship between the Hypnotic Quran Islamic Boarding School and the Sumbertaman Village Community fosters a sense of social concern and harmony in the surrounding environment Entrepreneur programs that have an impact on social values Keywords: Hypnotic Quran Islamic Boarding School, Community, Social Relations.
