Abstract
The Communication and Informatics Office, which should have received trust and a good predicate for its system governance from the public, received criticism due to frequent cases. The case was triggered by a collaboration between the Pamekasan Regency Communication and Informatics Office and the Madura Customs Office. The case involved the utilization of Tobacco Excise Revenue Sharing Funds (DBHCHT). The focus of this research is: How does the communication strategy of the Pamekasan Communication and Informatics Office restore public trust in the tobacco excise case? The purpose of this study is to analyze the communication strategy of the Pamekasan Communication and Informatics Office in restoring public trust in the tobacco excise case. This study concludes that: The organizational communication strategy used by the Pamekasan Regency Communication and Informatics Office to restore public trust in the tobacco excise case produces excellent results through maximized connectivity strategies.
