Abstract

Oya Kedungjati Valley Tourism is one of the natural tourist attractions located in Kedungjati Hamlet, Imogiri Sub-district, which is independently managed by local youth. Oya Kedungjati Valley Tourism offers beautiful rivers and natural scenery that attract many visitors, especially after going viral on social media in 2023. This study aims to describe efforts to manage tourist attractions and factors that influence the management of tourist attractions. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection methods through interviews, observations. Data analysis is carried out interactively through reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that tourism management is carried out through four stages of management. Planning includes facility development, increasing accessibility, managing tourist attractions, and promotion through social media. Organization is carried out through the formation of administrators, managing facilities and accessibility through mutual cooperation activities, dividing daily operational tasks for tourism and managing social media accounts for tourism. Mobilization includes tourism operations through providing incentives, flexible division of tasks and management of visitor safety. Supervision is carried out through daily evaluations and prevention of water accident risks through tourism operational standards. Factors that influence tourism management include the use of local resources, the use of technology in promotions and transactions, and improving the skills of officers in efforts to mitigate accident risks.
