Abstract

This research based on the former street child who live in Children Crisis Center of Indonesia’ dream home foundation has family problem background which is different and very diverse ages. This does not rule out the possibility of challenging when doing social interaction with their friends in new residence. Because they live together, not who have just been born in the world, so they have to adapt and do social interaction in Children Crisis Center which is new environment by bringing trauma when they’re trying their luck in the street. This research is qualitative research by using descriptive approach. This research aims to observe the form of social interaction happened to the children street former in Children Crisis Center. The technic used to collect data is interview, observation, FGD, and documentation. This research shows that the form of social interaction of children street former in Children Crisis Center on their associative form show there is cooperation established between others in daily activity and an agreement to reduce conflict or to prevent the problem. Besides that, there is dissociative social interaction which shows conflict, competition to get something, and controversy which means there is feeling of dislike towards other friends hidden in children street former in Children Crisis Center. In the occurrence of social interaction, there is supporting factor and obstacle factor
