Abstract

Post-Hajj coaching has been proven to improve pilgrims' understanding of the true essence of Hajj and encourage positive behavior in the community. Without coaching, there is a risk of stagnation and even moral degradation after the Hajj. This encourages the need for continuous coaching from various parties, including community organizations such as IPHI. The role of IPHI can be seen in coaching activities carried out at the sub-district level, as happened in Weru Sub-district, Sukoharjo Regency. IPHI Weru Sub-district actively conducts post-hajj pilgrimage coaching programs that are packaged in religious and social aspects. The purpose of the research is to find out how the guidance of pilgrims in IPHI Weru District, Sukoharjo Regency in 2024. This research will analyze the steps of coaching with the components of preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This research is categorized as descriptive qualitative field research. Data collection techniques used in this research through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis in this study was carried out with an interactive model initiated by Miles and Huberman of data collection, data reduction, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the coaching of pilgrims in IPHI Weru District, Sukoharjo Regency in 2024 has been carried out quite well in accordance with the coaching steps. So that the congregation can maintain the spirit of spirituality, friendship, and increased social care as the goal of IPHI Weru District to foster pilgrims towards mabrur Hajj.
