Abstract
Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah wa Ataqoh al-Kubro is a tarekat located in Blater Hamlet, Jimbaran Village, Bandungan Subdistrict, Semarang Regency. This research discusses the socio-religious changes experienced by adherents of the Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah wa Ataqoh al-Kubro tarekat and also the community around Blater. This research is based on three problem formulations to focus this research, namely: How was the social and religious situation of the community before the existence of tarekat? How is the dynamics of the development of tarekat? why there are socio-religious changes in the community of tarekat followers. This research is a social history that focuses on socio-religious. sociological approach is used to help reveal the social processes that are closely related to the movement and social changes experienced by the adherents of tarekat and the community around Blater. This research is also guided by several concepts, namely: Tarekat, religion and religious social change. The research method in this study is the historical writing method, namely: Heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study are: First, the majority of the Blater community in religion still adheres to the teachings of Kejawen Islam before the existence of the Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah wa Ataqoh al-Kubro tarekat. The cultural and socio-religious background of the Blater community still adheres to the system passed down from generation to generation by their ancestors. Second, the Naqsyabandiyah tariqat is a tariqat founded by K.H. Ali Mas'ud, in its development began with K.H. Ali Mas'ud's unrest with the community around Blater, many of whom still do not know and know about the teachings of Islam so that in 1969 he founded the Ataqoh al-Kubro tariqat. Then in 2010, the teaching was replaced by his son, K.H. Fatkhurahim and added to the teachings of Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah. Then it became the teachings of Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah wa Ataqoh al-Kubro. Third, the Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah wa Ataqoh al-Kubro tarekat in Blater has a role in socio-religious changes for its adherents. Some changes in the social aspect are that the mobility of the Blater community is getting better, the manners of the Blater community are also getting better after the existence of the tarekat. Then in the religious aspect of the community, the changes that occur are that the community is more diligent in worshiping, the mosque in Blater looks more alive for the religious activities of the Blater community. In addition, some of the influences experienced by the community of tarekat adherents are an increase in socio-religious activities and an increase in religious spirituality.
