Abstract

Sihir is a very important issue in the common people's lives. As a result, sihir kepercayaan and practice have a significant impact on society. Any sihir is also mentioned in the Al-Qur'an, however Allah makes it possible to use sihir knowledge because it is a syirik source. Labid bin A'som, a Yahudi, had persecuted Nabi Muhammad until Rasulullah experienced unnatural health and perasaan, which are described in the Riwayat Ahmad. This study aims to investigate the autentisitas hadis regarding Rasulullah terkena sihir. This study applies a kualitatif approach to the development of Harald Motzki's isnad-cum-matn theory. through a review of the literature from the pra kanonik, kanonik, and post-kanonik periods. This pendekatan is intended to analyze hadism by understanding earlier hadism, particularly hadis pertaining to Rasulullah terkena sihir. Harald Motzki's lima method of analysis and classification is used as the primary kerangka in this analysis. According to the study's findings, this hadis began to appear around the abad of two Hijriyah in Iraq. The hadis's sanad tersambung and established two common links with partial common link delapan. The analysis also shows that there is only a difference in lafadz and no other significance in the hadis text. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of hadis autentisitas and their significance in Islamic history
