Abstract

Rizqi Septiyanto, 19102040049, Strategic Management in Improving the Quality of Santri at Pesantren Jegongan Manfaat Banjarnegara. Undergraduate Thesis. Yogyakarta, Department of Da'wah Management, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University, 2025. This study examines strategic management in an effort to improve the quality of santri (Islamic boarding school students) at Pesantren Jegongan Manfaat Banjarnegara. Employing a qualitative approach and a case study method, this research explores how the pesantren (Islamic boarding school) formulates, implements, and evaluates its strategies. The findings indicate that the formulation of the vision and mission is carried out collaboratively, involving all foundation administrators, with an in-depth analysis of the pesantren's internal and external conditions. The implementation of strategies is based on the pesantren's vision and mission, focusing on enhancing the spiritual, intellectual, and social intelligence of the santri, in line with the idealism of KH. Zaini Mun'in. Strategy evaluation uses a 360° method involving all related parties, reflecting flexibility and responsiveness to needs. This research recommends the formalization of alternative strategies, strengthening program evaluation, developing the human resources of administrators and supervisors, and utilizing technology to improve the effectiveness of the pesantren's strategic management.
