Abstract

In cultures that are still influenced by patriarchal values, women are often positioned as secondary, including in terms of access to education. This contradicts the basic principles of Islam that uphold equal rights between men and women, including the right to acquire knowledge. However, gender-biased religious understandings still dominate social practices and limit women's space. In the midst of these challenges, the digital era opens up new opportunities to voice a more gender-just narrative of Islam. One of the media that consistently raises this issue is mubadalah.id, which, through its articles, seeks to build a discourse on women's education based on the value of equality in Islam. This research aims to mention and explain the main themes in mubadalah.id articles related to education for women. To represent the discourse of education for women in Islam constructed through articles on the mubadalah.id website and to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the content on the mubadalah.id website. This research uses qualitative research with a netnography approach. This research uses a library research method with primary data sources in this research, all content on the mubadalah.id website that discusses education for women. secondary data sources are found in books, articles, theses, and dissertations that are relevant to this research. The data technique uses documentation and interview techniques, while the analysis technique uses thematic content analysis. Analysis of the articles on mubadalah.id shows that the discourse on women's education in Islam is built through the recognition of the right to education as part of Islamic teachings, the importance of education as a means of empowerment, and efforts to realize equal access. This narrative is strengthened by the trilogy approach of the KUPI fatwa and women's experiences, which emphasizes the principles of equality, ultimate justice, and the value of social good. In terms of digital literacy, Mubadalah.id excels in aspects of analysis, evaluation, and content accessibility, but still has shortcomings in the use of visual media, transparency of author access, and consistency of content. These findings emphasize the important role of mubadalah.id in building gender-just and progressive Islamic discourse in the digital era.
