Abstract

UMKM Djoen Leather is an industry engaged in leather crafts, one of the products produced is a bag that uses natural milling embossed orange leather as the raw material. The company wants to maintain the quality of its products by using quality raw materials as well. However, the company does not yet have a supplier selection system and only relies on intuition from the purchasing department. The company experienced problems because there were defective raw materials. In addition, there was also a delay in the delivery of raw materials which hampered the production process. There needs to be a supplier selection evaluation system by considering several criteria and determining priority suppliers so that the supplier selection process becomes more measurable, the production process runs optimally, and maximizes profits. One method that can be used is a combination of the AHP and TOPSIS methods. The purpose of this study is to find the most influential criteria and sub-criteria and also the priority of suppliers. In this study, there are 5 criteria used, namely quality, price, delivery, flexibility, service, and 12 sub-criteria, as well as 4 suppliers as considerations. Data processing is carried out using the MS.Excel application. The results obtained that the criteria with the highest weights in sequence are quality with a weight of 0.350, 0.350, delivery with a weight of 0.271, service with a weight of 0.184, price with a weight of 0.110, and flexibility with a weight of 0.084, then the most influential sub-criteria are raw materials according to specifications with a weight of 0.185. In the TOPSIS processing, the priority suppliers in sequence are Kartika Leather with a weight of 0.713, Dien Leather with a weight of 0.462, Fajar Makmur with a weight of 0.422, and the last is MMM Leather with a weight of 0.346.
