Abstract

Family couple entrepreneurship guidance program organized by KUA Gedongtengen Yogyakarta is an innovation in supporting the economic resilience of new households through providing entrepreneurial skills. The background of this program is rooted in the need to prepare prospective brides and grooms not only in religious aspects, but also in economic independence. This is based on the reality that economic problems are often the trigger for divorce, so this guidance is seen as strategic to create a family that is sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah. The main focus of this study is to determine the implementation of family couple entrepreneurship guidance program and review its relevance to the Maṣlaḥah Mursalah theory according to Muhsin Nyak Umar. This study uses a normative approach, using the theory of Maṣlaḥah Mursalah Muhsin Nyak Umar. The method used in this study is field research. The data collection technique used is to use systematic interviews with the KUA Gedontengen and participants of the Manten Entrepreneurship Guidance program and is equipped with documentation. After the data is collected, it will then be classified and analyzed qualitatively with the inductive method. The results of the study indicate that this program has been implemented well through three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The materials provided include entrepreneurial motivation, marketing techniques, and financial management. This program not only provides skills, but also forms a productive mindset for prospective brides and grooms. When viewed from the Maṣlaḥah Mursalah Muhsin Nyak Umar theory, this program is included in the Maṣlaḥah category because it provides real benefits and does not conflict with the principles of Islamic law
