Abstract

The development of communication technology has made information a very important element in modern life. One of the impacts of the advancement of communication technology is the emergence of Cyber Public Relations (Cyber PR), which opens up new interaction spaces in the digital world. In its utilization, Cyber Public Relations can improve the existence of agencies. Public information services are an important aspect for government agencies in maintaining credibility and building good relationships with the public. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of Cyber Public Relations to maintain the image in the community on the @kemenkumjogja account. This study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation on four informants and the Instagram account @kemenkumjoga. Based on the results of the interview, it is known that the implementation of Cyber Public Relations of the DIY Ministry of Law and Human Rights through the Instagram platform is carried out with various features including feeds, stories, reels, and live which allow for the delivery of information in an interesting and interactive way. Each feature has a function to build the image of the institution. This increases transparency and allows for legal issues quickly, thereby increasing trust in the institution. Informative and consistent DIY Ministry of Law and Human Rights content is also able to form a Corporate Identity and positive reputation. The obstacle faced is the understanding of high-ranking officials regarding the importance of interactive and interesting contexts, while content that focuses on meeting documentation tends to inhibit dynamic interactions.
