Abstract
This research stems from the high cases of Bullying and cyberBullying occurring in school environments. SD Unggulan Muhammadiyah Lemahdadi is a school that is not exempt from Bullying incidents. The school environment should be a safe and comfortable place for all students. The rapid development of technology is one of the factors that enables students to easily access the internet and social media. The principal, as a leader, must be able to create a safe and conducive school environment to prevent Bullying and cyberBullying behaviors at school. This research aims to determine the principal's strategy as a school leader in preventing Bullying and cyberBullying at school. This is a qualitative research study. The data collection methods used are interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects were selected using non-probability techniques, meaning the researcher did not provide equal opportunities in selecting informants. This means the researcher chose informants who know, understand, and have experienced problems related to the research topic. The collected data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The researcher examined data validity through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The research findings show: (1) Forms of Bullying and cyberBullying at SD Unggulan Muhammadiyah Lemahdadi include: physical Bullying, verbal Bullying, and non-verbal Bullying. (2) Factors causing Bullying and cyberBullying at SD Unggulan Muhammadiyah Lemahdadi include: individual factors, family factors, peer factors, environmental factors, school factors, and social media factors. (3) The principal's strategies in preventing Bullying and cyberBullying at SD Unggulan Muhammadiyah Lemahdadi include: religious habituation, formation of violence prevention and response teams at school, communication books, and regular religious gatherings between school and parents. (4) The principal's strategies in handling perpetrators and supporting victims of Bullying and cyberBullying at SD Unggulan Muhammadiyah Lemahdadi include: providing mentoring, reflective punishment, and parent conferences.
