Abstract

This research aims at understanding the influence of teaching library use toward make use of library in SMA Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara. The interest of this research is to understanding as much as the influence of teaching library use toward make use of library. The method used in this research is survey with quantitative approach method. The population in this research are the students grade X and grade XI IPA-IPS of SMA Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara academic year of 2011/2012 as many 620 students, with the number of sampling that has been determined as many 93 students. The sample taking is done with the method Stratified Proportional Accidental Sampling. The data collection is done by observations, interviews, questionnaires and documentations. Based on the data that have been processed by the writer, it is known that the influence of teaching library use toward make use of library in SMA Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara, indicate of correlation between in X variable and Y variable with R square value (R2) or determination coefficient is 0,096. Then the thitung value in the amount of 3,111 the number as big as from ttabel value in the amount of 2,00. Then there is significant influence from the teaching library use variable toward make use of library variable in SMA Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara. The librarian should increase the quality of teaching to the library user, library in SMA Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara can useful for library user.
