Abstract
In today's dynamic modern life, Muslims are faced with various challenges, including moral, spiritual, and social issues, coupled with the increasingly widespread emergence of globalization and the rapid development of social media, which, without proper information filtering, significantly impacts the lives of Muslims in their religious lives. Therefore, the values of Islamic religious education play a role in strengthening the identity of Muslims and fostering religious awareness. Religious awareness is a process of forming all life experiences as the basis for philosophy and outlook on life, thus fostering a positive value system within the soul. Religious awareness can be achieved by establishing a close relationship with God (Hablu minallah), creating a supportive environment (Hablu Minannas), and empowering educators and religious leaders. Therefore, the Jogokaryan Mosque is a suitable place to implement Islamic religious education values in an effort to realize religious awareness, due to its direct connection with the community and its active and sustainable Islamic educational values. The research method used was qualitative field research. Subjects were determined using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing the data, the researchers employed Miles Huberman's theory of data condensation, data display, and conclusion verification. This was followed by data triangulation to verify the validity of the data. The results of this study indicate that, (1) the implementation of religious studies at the Jogokaryan mosque is carried out with planning, namely identifying the needs of the congregation, setting goals, compiling materials, selecting speakers, and making a schedule and place for the study. (2) the implementation of Islamic religious education values in religious studies is carried out on the values of faith, moral values and worship values. The values of faith are instilled through tauhid study activities, Jogokaryan storytelling, contextual approaches and youth studies. Moral values are applied with moral materials, qudwah khasanah and the rules of the Jogokaryan mosque. The values of worship are applied through guidance on religious practices, Ramadan Islamic boarding schools, Hajj rituals, funeral prayers and preparing prayer guidance books. (3) the relationship between the implementation of Islamic religious education values in religious studies with the congregation's religious awareness, includes the dimensions of belief, the dimension of appreciation, the dimension of knowledge, and the dimension of practice.
