Abstract

The material on medicinal plant diversity has not been well visualized, the lack of visual media learning resources in the form of booklets, the lack of contextual learning, and the potential of the Rejowinangun Tourism Village, especially in the Herbal Cluster, are the background of this research. However, its use as a biology learning resource at the high school/Islamic high school level is still limited. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of medicinal plant diversity in the Rejowinangun Tourism Village, to determine the development of medicinal plant diversity booklets, to determine the validity and student responses to the medicinal plant booklets in the Rejowinangun Tourism Village. Data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively to assess the feasibility of the product. The results showed that exploration in the Rejowinangun Tourism Village Herbal Cluster obtained 56 species from 27 families. The results of the identification of medicinal plants were then developed into a booklet. The results of the validity of material experts with a percentage of 96.25% with a very good category, media experts with a percentage of 98.75% with a very good category, and biology teachers with a percentage of 81.33% with a very good category. Student responses obtained a percentage of 93.33% indicating a very good category. This shows that the results of the booklet development are suitable for use as a biology learning resource in high schools and can be a medium for introducing the local potential of medicinal plants to students.
