Abstract
This study analyzes abnormal stock returns of mining companies in Indonesia related to Apple Inc.'s investment in 2024. The event study method used is a quantitative approach, utilizing daily stock price data and the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in the periods before and after the announcement. The sample consists of ten large-cap mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results show significant abnormal returns around the event, indicating a market response to the announcement. This finding supports the semi-strong form of market efficiency theory, where stock prices reflect relevant public information.
