Abstract
The quality of human resources is one of the keys to overcoming various problems that exist in organizations or agencies. Based on the results of the DIY Inspectorate's evaluation, the internal performance of the DLHK DIY received a score of 12.65 or 84.33%. This figure is considered satisfactory but needs to be improved, given the many problems experienced by the DLHK. Based on these issues, the researcher wanted to determine the extent to which the organizational communication climate through work motivation affects the job satisfaction of employees at the DIY Environment and Forestry Agency. The theory used in this study is Organizational Information Theory, with the assumption that “Organizations are involved in the process of creating messages that are acceptable and easy to understand in order to achieve organizational goals.” This study uses a correlational quantitative approach with path analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the variable of organizational communication climate through work motivation on the job satisfaction of DLHK DIY employees has a significant influence with an influence value of 0.776 or 77.6%. Thus, the variable of work motivation is crucial in connecting the independent variable with the dependent variable.
