Abstract

This study aims to develop audio-visual and three-dimensional (3D) teaching media integrated with a Mindfulness approach for Civics and Pancasila Education (PPKn) subjects as a form of learning intervention for third-grade elementary school students who experience difficulties in Fokusing on learning. The background of this research stems from the problem of low concentration and student engagement in PPKn learning, which is still dominated by conventional methods and lacks the use of interactive technology. In fact, the implementation of a Mindfulness approach has been empirically proven to improve Fokus, emotional regulation, and self-awareness among students. Therefore, the innovation of teaching media that integrates technology and Mindfulness aspects becomes urgent in the context of inclusive and adaptive 21stcentury learning that meets students'needs. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method by adapting the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consist of teachers and grade III inclusive students at an elementary school. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, as well as validation by media experts, material experts, and Mindfulness experts. Data analysis was conducted descriptively both qualitatively and quantitatively to assess the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed teaching media. The research results indicate that audio-visual and 3D-based teaching media integrated with Mindfulness are considered highly feasible for use based on expert validation with high average scores in aspects of appearance, material suitability, and integration of Mindfulness values. Limited trials and practicality tests show that this media is effective in enhancing Fokus, learning engagement, and understanding of PPKn values concepts, such as discipline, responsibility, and adherence to rules. Simple Mindfulness exercises embedded in the media, such as mindful breathing and self-reflection, have been proven to help students manage attention and emotions during the learning process. Thus, the development of audio visual and 3D-based teaching media with a Mindfulness approach not only functions as a technological innovation in learning but also as a pedagogical strategy aimed at improving learning quality, character building, and the psychological well-being of students. This product is expected to serve as a reference for teachers and researchers in developing Civics education that is more interactive, reflective, and inclusive.
