Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of green banking practices (digital banking, green financing, green infrastructure, and green services) on customer loyalty at Bank Syariah Indonesia with green service quality as a mediating variable. The research employed a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique involving 160 BSI customers in Yogyakarta. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with WarpPLS 8.0 software. The results indicate that all dimensions of green banking have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, with digital banking having the highest influence (β=0.390, p<0.001). Green service quality was proven to mediate the relationship between green infrastructure and green services toward customer loyalty, but did not mediate digital banking and green financing. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing green banking to enhance customer loyalty in Islamic banking.
