Abstract
Indonesia is highly susceptible to earthquakes due to its complex tectonic setting within the surrounded by 3 major tectonic plates. Although regional seismic hazard maps often indicate low to moderate risk levels, local geological and soil conditions can significantly amplify earthquake impacts. This study aims to determine seismic vulnerability parameters and map earthquake-prone zones in Watukelir Village, Ayah District, Kebumen Regency, using a Spatial Multi-Criteria Evaluation (SMCE) approach integrated with Fuzzylogic.Microtremor data were collected from 69 measurement points between May and November 2025. Additional data included geological maps, DEMnas data, and bedrock Peak ground acceleration (PGA) values obtained from the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. Microtremor signals were processed using the Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) method to obtain dominant frequency and amplification factor. Seismic vulnerability index (Kg), shear wave velocity (vs30), surface PGA, Ground Shear Strain (GSS), slope, and geological conditions were calculated and subsequently fuzzified. All parameters were integrated using the SMCE–Fuzzylogic framework to produce an earthquake hazard zonation map.The results indicate that Kg values range from 0.09 to 62.74, vs30 values from 192.42 m/s to 1403.63 m/s, PGA values from 0.393 g to 0.440 g, GSS values from 3.6 × 10⁻⁶ g to 2.4 × 10⁻⁴ g, and slope angles from 0.05° to 45.59°. The study area is classified into low, moderate, and high earthquake hazard zones, with high hazard zones predominantly associated with alluvial formations. This study provides a scientific basis for local-scale earthquake mitigation and spatial planning.
