Abstract

This study aims to analyze the intention to use BSI Mikro KUR services by applying Behavioral Reasoning Theory (BRT). The research model examines the influence of values and beliefs on reasons for, reasons against, attitudes, and intentions to use. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of micro-business owners. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that values and beliefs did not have a significant direct effect on intention to use. However, values and beliefs influenced the formation of behavioral reasons, which in turn influenced attitudes and intentions. The attitude variable was shown to have a positive and significant effect on intention to use. These findings indicate that intention to use BSI Mikro KUR services is more influenced by rational evaluation through reasons and attitudes than by values and beliefs directly. Theoretically, these results strengthen BRT, which states that values and beliefs are distal factors that operate through the mechanisms of reasons and attitudes before forming behavioral intentions.
