Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of macroeconomic and microeconomic factors on the financial stability of Sharia Rural Banks (BPRS) in Central Java, West Java, and the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Financial stability is measured using the Z-Score, which reflects the bank's resilience to bankruptcy risk. Microeconomic variables include Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Cash Ratio (CR), Number of Board of Directors, Number of Board of Commissioners, Number of Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). Macroeconomic variables consist of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and BI Rate. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data from BPRS financial reports and official publications from relevant authorities and is analyzed using panel data regression. The results of this study are expected to provide empirical evidence on the factors that affect the stability of BPRS and serve as consideration for management and regulators in strengthening the resilience and sustainability of BPRS in supporting regional economic growth.
