Abstract

The analysis of factors influencing the growth of Third-Party Funds (DPK) at Islamic Rural Banks (BPRS) in Yogyakarta was conducted for the period 2021–2024 using a panel data regression approach. The variables examined consist of macroeconomic and internal bank factors. Macroeconomic factors include inflation and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), while internal factors comprise profit-sharing rates, Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), and profitability measured by Return on Assets (ROA). The results indicate that inflation and GRDP do not have a significant effect on DPK growth. In contrast, internal bank factors have a positive and significant influence on DPK growth. Profit-sharing rates, BOPO, and ROA serve as important indicators reflecting bank performance in enhancing customer trust and interest. Overall, strengthening internal bank performance is the main strategy to promote the growth of Third-Party Funds at BPRS in Yogyakarta.
