Abstract
This study aims to examine the influence of nature-tourism content on the Instagram account @wonosobohitz on tourists’ visiting decisions to Wonosobo Regency. The background of this research lies in the growing role of social media as a major source of tourism information that has the potential to shape tourists’ interest and behavior. This research employs a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 100 followers of the @wonosobohitz. The instrument consisted of 24 statement items measuring the variables of Nature-Tourism Content (X) and Visiting Decision (Y). Data were analyzed using SPSS version 29 through normality, linearity, heteroscedasticity tests, simple linear regression, and coefficient of determination. The results indicate that nature-tourism content has a positive and significant influence on visiting decisions. The obtained regression equation, Y = 8.544 + 0.792X, shows that every increase in the quality of nature-tourism content leads to an increase of 0.792 in visiting decisions. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.594 reveals that 59.4% of the variance in visiting decisions is explained by nature-tourism content, while the remaining 40.6% is influenced by other. In conclusion, nature-tourism content on the @wonosobohitz Instagram account significantly contributes to visiting decisions.
