Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial performance and macroeconomic factors on financial distress in Islamic Commercial Banks during the 2020–2025 period using the NPF ratio as a proxy. The variables examined include ROA, CAR, FDR, BOPO, inflation, and interest rates. This research employs quantitative data, purposive sampling techniques, and panel data regression methods. The results indicate that all independent variables simultaneously affect financial distress. Partially, ROA, FDR, and BOPO have a positive effect, CAR has a negative effect, while inflation and interest rates do not significantly affect financial distress.
