Abstract

The problem of multilayer plastic waste, which is difficult to decompose and often has no economic value, has the potential to pollute the environment if it is not managed properly. This condition encourages the need for waste management efforts that are not only oriented toward environmental aspects, but also capable of increasing community participation and welfare through empowerment activities. This study aims to describe and analyze the forms of community empowerment implemented by Butik Daur Ulang Project B Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the founder, internal team of Butik Daur Ulang Project B Indonesia, and partners such as TPS 3R Brama Muda. The results of this study indicate that Butik Daur Ulang Project B Indonesia has implemented various forms of community empowerment, including job creation, collaboration with community groups, waste school programs, collaboration with CSR Pertamina Depo Boyolali through the desa mitra program, assistance for TPS 3R Brama Muda, and online training. In its implementation, the empowerment process is carried out through systematic stages, starting from the preparation stage, assessment stage, alternative program planning stage, action plan formalization stage, program implementation stage, evaluation stage, and termination stage.
