Abstract

The evaluation of the implementation of a digital information system is an effort to assess the extent to which a system operates in accordance with its predetermined objectives. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) at Pondok Pesantren Assalafiyyah Mlangi Yogyakarta as an effort to digitalize academic and administrative management. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed inductively. The results of the evaluation indicate that the implementation of SIAKAD has generally operated according to its objectives, although several obstacles are still encountered in its application. In the context aspect, the system serves as a solution to the limitations of manual administration. In the input aspect, the available resources are considered adequate, although there are still challenges related to user competence and network stability. In the process aspect, the use of the system has been adaptive, yet not fully consistent and still facing technical issues. In the product aspect, SIAKAD has succeeded in improving efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of data, although the utilization of its features has not been fully optimized. In conclusion, the implementation of SIAKAD can be categorized as functionally successful, but it still requires optimization in terms of human resources, infrastructure, and consistency in system usage.
