Abstract

The rapid development of web technology has increased the need for faster and more efficient application development. In Laravel-based application development, the process of creating CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) modules still requires considerable time because developers must manually create various components such as Models, Controllers, Migrations, and Views. This research aims to develop FastCRUD, a web-based CRUD generator tool capable of automatically generating Laravel CRUD modules. The system development method used in this research is Extreme Programming (XP), which consists of planning, design, coding, and testing stages. The system was developed using the Laravel framework with a template-based code generation approach to automatically generate CRUD code structures based on user input. FastCRUD also provides additional features such as timestamps, soft deletes, various field data types, and module export in ZIP file format. System testing was carried out using Black Box Testing to evaluate system functionality and performance testing to measure CRUD generation performance. The testing results show that all system features functioned properly according to their intended purposes, and the system was able to generate CRUD modules quickly and consistently. Based on the research results, FastCRUD is able to accelerate Laravel-based application development through a more practical, consistent, and efficient CRUD module generation automation process.
