Abstract
This study was motivated by the increasing public interest in sharia compliant gold investment, particularly at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Gold is considered a safe, stable, and halal investment instrument, making it an attractive option for customers. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of service quality, price, and perceived risk on customers’ interest in investing in gold at BSI. The study was conducted in 2025 using a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to BSI customers and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that all three independent variables service quality, price, and perceived risk have a positive and significant effect on customers’ investment interest, with price emerging as the most dominant factor. These findings highlight that excellent service quality, fair and transparent pricing, and a strong security system enhance customer trust and satisfaction, thereby reinforcing their repeated intention to invest in gold. The study supports the framework of the Repurchase Intention Theory, which emphasizes satisfaction and trust as key determinants of behavioral intention. Practically, the results provide valuable insights for BSI to improve digital and face-to-face service quality, maintain price stability, and strengthen security systems as part of its strategy to develop sharia compliant gold investment products.
