Abstract

This study aims to analyze the inflence of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social inflence, facilitating conditions on Generation Z’s intention to perform zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS) through digital payments using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) approach. his research is a quantitative research with a questionnaire as the data collection method. Based on the sample determination, 214 Generation Z respondents were obtained, where they were selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. The results show that performance expectancy and social inflence have a positive and significant effect on behavioral intention. Meanwhile, effort expectancy and facilitating conditions have a positive but not significant effect on behavioral intention. In addition, zakat literacy is found to have a positive and significant inflence on Generation Z’s intention to use digital payments for ZIS.
