Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of industrial agglomeration, investment, labor force participation, and infrastructure on economic growth in Indonesia from 2016 to 2023. The study uses a quantitative approach with panel data covering 34 provinces in Indonesia during the 2016–2023 period. The analysis method used is panel data regression with the help of the EViews 12 application. Based on the model specification test results, the best model used in this study is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Research results show that industrial agglomeration has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia. Investment also has a positive and significant impact because it can increase production capacity and boost economic activity. Meanwhile, labor force participation has a positive but not significant effect, indicating that the increase in the number of workers has not been fully matched by adequate quality and productivity of the workforce. Infrastructure, measured by the length of roads, shows a negative and insignificant impact on economic growth. These findings suggest that infrastructure development has not yet had an optimal effect due to uneven development, underutilization, and the time gap between infrastructure construction and the economic benefits it generates.
